The Boombox is Providence’s first and only karaoke lounge. Taking inspiration from the popular karaoke “boxes” in Korea and Japan, The Boombox is the perfect destination for birthdays, celebrations, or anyone looking for an alternative to another night at the corner bar. Located at The Dean Hotel, The Boombox offers both a lounge area as well as 5 private rooms.

In the lounge, you can sit quietly with a drink or, if the sake’s got you feeling bold, belt out a tune in front of your friends (and strangers). If you and your crew want your own space to let loose, book a private room by the hour and have complete control of your night. Each room has its own karaoke system complete with iPad control, TV, speakers, and thousands of frequently-updated songs to choose from.
