Lucca Back Bay is the sister restaurant of Lucca in the North End. The Kitchen, headed by Andres Cruz, embraces classic Italian cuisine with a contemporary approach. White cabanas and alfresco couches make you feel like you´re experiencing an urban oasis. Minibar offers a renowned drink menu with signature cocktails and an inspired host of appetizers. All served under the ambient sounds of cool, hip, progressive lounge music. Minibar, Boston´s social hot spot, is a dazzling venue sure to please the senses.
Opened in September 2011 in Boston’s historic Back Bay, Storyville pioneers a new trend in the city’s nightlife as an exciting one-of-a-kind environment where Speakeasy meets Nightclub, classic and craft cocktails pour freely, and music that soothes the soul, as well as pumps new beats, can be discovered. Located at 90 Exeter Street (the original location at Copley Square hotel) and is the vision and creation of local restaurateur Brian Lesser. “Too often we hear about places trying to emulate New York, Las Vegas and Miami, but I think it is time we concentrated on creating a venue that is uniquely Boston. One with a cool and detailed history,” says Lesser. Lesser aims to set the bar with a place that, under one roof, fuses hospitality with fun, an ambience that plays on sinful and seductive, a dining menu made to please the palate, a cocktail program with classics and innovations, and areas to unwind and lounge with friends or to dance the night away. What was once old and forgotten will be new again with the modern incarnation and interpretation of Storyville. Riffs on a speakeasy culture can be experienced in the Bordello Room; it gives a nod to the New Orleans’ Red Light District with a sinful and seductive atmosphere, classic and craft cocktails and an extensive dining menu of small plates served until well past midnight. The Bordello Room will remain open throughout the evening while the rest of the space progresses from a lounge-like atmosphere to one of all out dancing as the hours pass. There is an extensive cocktail menu, table service, and music. Designer Steve Sousa of Sousa Designs took inspiration from the Red Light District’s artistic culture with shimmering fleur de lys patterns on the walls and lyrics from songs performed at the original Storyville stylized across the illuminated ceiling coves.
