Our Thai restaurant is known for its modern interpretation of classic dishes and its insistence on only using high quality fresh ingredients.
New! All the tapas, without the wait. Our newly expanded lunch menu now includes all of our dinner options. Toro is a Barcelona-style tapas restaurant located in Boston's South End. We serve traditional and modern Spanish-style small plates made with locally sourced and sustainable ingredients. Our beverage program features classic-inspired cocktails and an eclectic, all-Spanish wine list. We serve lunch Monday through Friday, an award-wining brunch on Sunday, and dinner seven nights a week. Due to our small size we are unable to accommodate reservations at dinner; we seat all parties on a first-come, first serve basis. Toro is now accepting lunch and brunch reservations for parties of six or more. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate parties larger than 10 people on Fridays and Saturdays. Vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free, and nut-free menus are available by request.
Teranga is Boston’s first Senegalese restaurant, located in the historic South End neighborhood at the intersection of Mass. Ave and Washington Street. We are honored to be located in the South End with its profusion of world-class, renowned restaurants and chefs. Teranga literally means hospitality in Wolof, a Senegalese language. In Senegal, hospitality is more than an art and culture; it’s a way of life. Teranga is the spirit of camaraderie, tolerance, and acceptance of one another. In the Senegalese culture, we strongly believe in taking care of anyone who crosses our path, especially guests. At Teranga restaurant we try to mirror the Senegalese culture and invite our guests to do the same. In keeping with the “Teranga Spirit”, we would like to encourage everybody to be accommodating and understanding as we may occasionally ask you to move over to the next table to make room for fellow patrons.
Walking into El Centro is like walking into your grandmother's kitchen, that is, if your grandmother's kitchen is in Hermosillo, Mexico. Chef/Owner Allan Rodriguez has brought his version of Mexico to Boston, complete with real family recipes, house-made tortillas, spiced sangrias and authentic micheladas. A warm, inviting space, El Centro’s walls are home to authentic Mexican artwork, original photographs and handmade decorations from Mexico.
Orinoco: A Latin Kitchen is inspired by "taguaritas"-- rustic, inviting, family-run eateries found along Venezuelan roadsides. Our three neighborhood kitchens are each a labor of love – opened and cared for by friends (all native Venezuelans) who are passionate about bringing authentic Latin American flavors and the warmth of traditional Latin culture to local diners. Each Orinoco offers an affordable, neighborhood-focused dining tradition that is known for being casual, lively and fun. Our menu includes old family recipes that blend the cuisines and favorite dishes of the Andes and the Caribbean – plus specials that take full advantage of fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Orinoco features authentic South American wines, beers, and tropical fruit drinks. In addition, our Brookline Village location offers Caribbean-inspired specialty cocktails.
