Acclaimed chef and restaurant industry veteran, Brian Poe (Poe’s Kitchen at the Rattlesnake), opened The Tip Tap Room in Beacon Hill in June of 2012. True to its name, The Tip Tap Room dishes out a variety of inventive “tips” accompanied by an immense selection of beers on “tap” in an upscale pub setting. A world traveler whose culinary talent has taken him across the globe, Chef Poe incorporates only the best of his experiences to produce unparalleled tastes, flavors and flair in each of his culinary creations.
Occupying an inconspicuous, subterranean spot on the back side of Beacon Hill, Grotto has earned itself high praise with imaginative, contemporary Italian cuisine. The dining room's exposed brick walls covered with artwork from local creative-types, give Grotto an intimate and cozy feel that's hard to find anywhere nearby.
Boston is an enormously passionate city, spirited debate is practically our fifth major sport. While we may respectfully part ways on nearly everything, including that necktie of yours, public opinion is squarely behind the 21st Amendment. The 21st has elevated the "neighborhood pub" concept high above Beacon Hill by infusing our spin on traditional pub classics while carving out our own culinary history. When both locals and visitors are seen rubbing, okay, bending elbows in the same room, it's obvious that the quality of the food and the company has transcended party lines. Come spend some time with us at the 21st and see where Beacon Hill Meets!
The Hill Tavern's bustling bar scene and classic pub menu has been a neighborhood favorite since 1995. We take pride in making everyone feel like a regular the first time they walk in the door. Named "Best Neighborhood Bar" multiple times by the Improper Bostonian.
The Kinsale was designed and built in Ireland then shipped and reassembled in Boston. The interior is warm and cozy with beautiful Celtic motifs and fine Irish craftsmanship from floor to ceiling. With the lively bar scene and a fantastic craft brew selection, the bar is a great spot to enjoy a pint. We offer several spaces that are perfect for private parties.
