Strega is famous for its dramatic decor, celebrity clientele, unmatched hospitality, and most of all, the unforgettable Italian cuisine. It's also notorious for being one of the most difficult restaurants in Boston in which to get a seat, and has been hailed as having "Boston's Most Coveted Table Reservation". But what is it about this small, charming restaurant that makes it the most in-demand spot in the city night-after-night, year-after-year? The Strega phenomenon exploded in 2003. Local customers filled its tables with such regularity that local and nation media had no choice but to take notice. Today, stars such as Justin Timberlake, Lebron James, Lorraine Bracco, Kate Hudson, Vincent Pastore, Diddy, John Mayer and many others call Strega their home when visiting Boston. Strega proudly operates as a five-star restaurant and accepts reservations nightly.
Bustling, down-to-earth pick for ample portions of classic Italian-American offerings.
Located in the heart of the North End, our menu features authentic Italian cuisine with daily specials. Great for a romantic night out, large parties, rehearsal dinners, and a cozy night out. Prezza, located in Boston’s historic North End, was opened in 2000 by Chef and Owner, Anthony Caturano. Named for a town in the Abruzzi region of Italy, the home place of the Caturano’s grandmother, Prezza features an inviting lively atmosphere and boasts an exceptional wine list with over 800 bottles. Chef Anthony Caturano, known for his Old-World-style and overflowing dishes, creates a discerning seasonal Italian menu, which features naturally robust ingredients with sumptuous flavor and rich portions.
The Florentine Cafe is one of the oldest bars in Boston. Established just after Prohibition on the corner of Hanover and Prince Streets in Boston's historic North End, it provided a place to meet, greet and enjoy a drink in the heart of one of Boston's most famous neighborhoods. In 1995, the Florentine was renovated to bring back its Old World look and charm, once again capturing the attention of the neighborhood and of passers-by alike, as well as providing excellent food to go with its excellent selection of drinks.
