Opened in August 2011, The Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails pays homage to Boston’s most inconspicuous subcultures of the early 20th century – the Boston Brahmin. With the overall space evoking the elegance of a historic brownstone, guests are reminded of a time passed in the prosperous Back Bay neighborhood. The interior features illuminated chandeliers, tufted banquettes, lounge spaces, private function rooms and a full wrap around bar with plenty of seating. The Brahmin offers the perfect atmosphere for any occasion – a casual night out for dinner and drinks or a more significant event such as a birthday, anniversary, or holiday party. Our hand crafted cocktails are a great compliment to any of our skillfully made menu items. The Brahmin’s unique menu features small plates of classic American dishes with an upscale twist that are perfect for sharing and group dining.
Post 390 puts a contemporary twist on the traditional tavern experience, with seasonally inspired dishes that reflect Chef Eric Brennan’s passion for fresh ingredients and unforgettable flavors. On the first floor is the Tavern—a casual but sophisticated menu and atmosphere, with a 25-seat bar and high top and banquette seating area, warmed by a beautiful four-sided fireplace. A massive wrought iron staircase connects the energy of the first floor with the Dining Room on the second floor. Here, guests can have a more refined dining experience, and enjoy our large, open kitchen, wine displays, two private dining rooms, additional fireside dining and views of landmarks like Copley Place, Trinity Church and the Hancock Tower. Throughout the entire restaurant, black glazed brick columns and wood slatted walls add an urban edge to the comforting atmosphere. Located in the Clarendon Building, the site of the former Back Bay Post Office Annex, Post 390 is perfectly situated within walking distance of the South End and Back Bay neighborhoods.
The mission of The Lyric Stage Company of Boston is to produce quality theatrical productions of varying genres and styles which are entertaining, challenging, and provocative, which reach a wide variety of audiences through reasonable ticket prices and outreach programs, and to support and nurture the talents of Boston-area theatre artists through employment, training, and development opportunities.
Gracious. Sophisticated. Seductive. Distinctive. Boston’s acclaimed French restaurant from celebrated Chef/Owner Jamie Mammano. Located in the city’s stylish South End, Mistral showcases Chef Mammano’s uncomplicated French Mediterranean cuisine, highlighted with the season’s finest ingredients. Inspired by the wind that sweeps through the south of France, the restaurant’s decor is reminiscent of Provence with hand picked French pottery, high ceilings and arched floor to ceiling windows that evoke a feeling of warmth and sophistication. Mistral’s dramatic dining room serves dinner nightly and Sunday Brunch. In our bar and comfortable lounge area we also offer craft cocktails and fine wines to compliment Chef Mammano’s menu. Mistral’s private dining room, Le Salon du Mistral, accommodates 60 seated and up to 80 guests for a reception. Guests of Mistral are invited to use the restaurant’s complimentary car service for transportation within metro Boston and there is valet parking ($21) on-site.
