Internationally touring singer/songwriter Brian Chartrand has called Phoenix home for 14 years.

Currently, he performs as a soloist and has three main group projects: The Sweet Remains, The Voce Project, and Live from Laurel Canyon.

The Sweet Remains(12+million listens on Spotify) is a critically acclaimed trio of songwriters, including Rich Price and Greg Naughton, who write and record original folk rock and tour throughout the States and Europe. Released in Sept 2015, their third studio album Night Songs continues the tradition of mellow acoustic folk pop with loads of three part harmony.

The Voce Project is Brian’s six piece Phoenix based band. Performing Brian’s original work, this band is comprised of some of the best musicians in Arizona. With three albums [“The Voce Project” 2010 “Worth The Fight” 2014 “Live at the MIM Theater” 2015] this band is just starting to hit its stride locally. The Voce Project sounds like a cross between James Taylor and Steely Dan.

Live from Laurel Canyon is a production show that Brian researched and wrote that highlights the music and artists who lived in Laurel Canyon (Hollywood, CA) between 1965 and 1975. Performed with the help of Brian’s Voce Project and two additional singers (Khani Cole and Kip Fox), this show tells the tale of some of the most influential singer/songwriters of that time and helps show how ‘folk rock’ began in this small canyon community.

As an independent artist Brian has released over 15albums of original music, performed throughout the US and Europe, and placed compositions in advertisements and indie films.

In Phoenix, he has performed on some of the areas biggest and best stages including: The MIM Music Theater,The Celebrity Theater, Ashley Home Furniture Pavilion, Chandler Center for the Arts, P.F. Chang Rock & Roll Marathon, and McDowell Mountain Music Festival.
