  • Crow’s Nest Warwick

    .4m away

The Crow's Nest, located at 288 Arnold's Neck Drive in Warwick has been the home of a restaurant since the mid sixties. It was originally opened as a chowder house by the marina owner and a partner. They called it the Crow's Nest Restaurant and featured many of the same items we do today! The building was sold 2-3 times over the years but always kept the name Crow's Nest. Sometime in the 1980's the building sustained a fire and was rebuilt the way it is today. In the spring of 1992, after being closed for 2 years, my family took ownership of the building. This gave my husband and I the opportunity to have our own business. We both had been in the restaurant business for many years. Even though the restaurant business can be difficult we decided to give it a try. We are fortunate to have many dedicated employees both in the kitchen and the front of the house. Thanks to their ability to go the extra mile for the customer we can look forward to another 20 years!

  • The Shanty Warwick

    1.0m away

The Shanty is a modern American restaurant pairing local farm fresh ingredients with unsurpassed service in a comfortable “locals” atmosphere. We offer a great variety of craft brews and classic cocktails with a hint of eclectic. We strive to educate and inspire through food by letting the local ingredients shine. Owner and Operator Kara Neisinger Kara was born and raised in upstate New York. She got her start in food service at the early age of 16. Paying her way through Johnson and Wales by serving tables, she obtained her bachelors in food and beverage management. After college, she moved to the quaint town of Wickford, Rhode Island where she managed the Tavern by the Sea for 5 years. Seeking out ways to hone her skills in fine dining, she moved to Foxborough to manage Davios. Karas hunger for adventure and desire to spend time with her brother drew her to the great north to the beautiful Kenai Peninsula. She stumbled upon the majestic town of Girdwood, Alaska where she became the dining room manager of the local’s rustic, friendly, and forward thinking restaurant Jack Sprat. There she aided in promoting events including course dinner tastings paired with local Alaskan craft brewers, champagne and wine. Her heart strings soon started tugging her back to her roots in New England as she bid a fond farewell and headed back east, accepting a position at the historic Whitehorse Tavern in Newport. Her love of the industry pushed her to follow her dreams of owning and operating her own business. She can now take all of the things she loves most about the industry and serve it to the local Rhode Island community of Warwick.

  • Arooga’s Warwick

    1.3m away

There's never been a restaurant quite like Arooga's before. How do we know? Spies. That, and because we're not just some average, run-of-the-mill, sports bar. Nope. We're a slightly above average grille house and sports bar. That's right. Our housemade food is prepared by chefs instead of factory workers - it's better. The fresh baked bread, wings sauces, salad dressings, the housemade soups. All better. The beer is colder. The TVs, TV-er. You can see every game from every seat in the restaurant. And we mean every game, because we have every sports package available all 365 days of the year on nearly 1000 flat screen tv's between all of our locations. We've got free wi-fi, Buzztime trivia and NTN Texas Hold 'em. We've got over 80 menu items under $8.99. And several other items priced over $8.99 for the rich folks. So if you're looking for great food prepared and served by above-average people that prepare and serve great food, you'll find it at Arooga's. If you're looking for fun, you'll find that, too. If you're looking for your boyfriend and/or girlfriend, we haven't seen him and/or her. So there you go, the proof's in the pudding here at Arooga's.
