    .6m away

Since our humble beginnings back in 1978, we’ve continued to refine our brewhouse experience to make BJ’s a place where you can make the most of any meal. We want BJ’s to be a place where the moment you leave is the moment you plan on coming back. We pride ourselves in our craft and attention to detail. Our guests come here for our award-winning handcrafted beer. They come here for the Southern California twist we’ve put on the Chicago-style pizza. And they come here for our Pizookies, our world-renowned dessert. But above all we know people come here to make their good times better. So in many ways we haven’t just crafted a brand, but a mindset. And our guests are the reason for this. And it’s because of you we’re continually striving to make sure every moment you choose to spend with us counts.

  • Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana Warwick

    .7m away

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana was founded in 1925 by Frank Pepe (b. April 15, 1893 d. September 6, 1969). Born in the town of Maiori, on the Amalfi coast, southwest of Naples, Frank Pepe was the quintessential Italian immigrant. Poor and illiterate, he immigrated to the United States in 1909 at age 16 with little more than his health and a strong work ethic. His first job was at a New Haven, CT factory until he returned to fight for his native Italy in World War 1 a few years later. He married Filomena Volpi, also from Maiori, in 1919. As newly-weds they returned to New Haven, CT in 1920 to begin building their new lives together. Frank Pepe took a job at a local Wooster Street macaroni manufacturer, Genneroso Muro (the current location of Libby’s Italian Pastry). He then worked for Tony Apicella at his bread bakery, also on Wooster Street. He made his first entrepreneurial move by establishing his own bakery at 163 Wooster Street — in business today as Frank Pepe’s the Spot — baking his bread and delivering to the local community with a cart. Since he had difficulty documenting, because of his illiteracy, to whom he delivered and to the quantity, he soon abandoned his efforts of delivery service. Instead, he made the fortuitous decision to start a business where his customers would come to him.

  • Not Your Average Joe's Warwick

    1.0m away

There was no shortage of restaurants when Not Your Average Joe’s first opened in 1994. There was, however, a shortage of great restaurants with reasonable prices in the suburbs. Tired of driving too far and paying too much, Steve Silverstein decided to build the restaurant he was longing for. The name Not Your Average Joe’s came out of Steve’s determination to avoid the run-of-the-mill-restaurant rut. He wanted to create a unique neighborhood place, where people know your name, where the food and prices are great, where you feel special without dressing up. Seems other people want that too. Today, with 22 locations in the Boston area and a couple more near Washington DC, Not Your Average Joe’s is satisfying a seemingly limitless hunger for creative casual cuisine. No, the world doesn’t need another restaurant. But it could use a few more Not Your Average Joe’s. We’re working on it.
