Rogue Island Local Kitchen & Bar has a private dining room available for events. We are located within The Arcade, which is the oldest indoor shopping mall in the United States. It was built in 1828 and was renovated and reopened in November 2013 as a mixed use building with retail on the ground floor and lofts on the upper floors.
Our private room has original nineteenth century tin ceilings, and reclaimed wood wainescoating that was salvaged from Rhode Island barns. The lighting is industrial in nature, with Edison light bulb sconces and a chandelier in the center of the tin ceiling. The art covering the walls are photographs by a local photographer, and they focus on Providence landmarks. The doors of this room open into The Arcade atrium, and this is the only on-site banquet facilities available at The Arcade. There is a flat panel television available for presentations, and doors can be closed for privacy.

Private Event Info
- Deposit: For events that require all or a portion of the restaurant to be closed for the evening, we request a 50% deposit from our customers.
- Room Fee: Room fee depends on event date, time, and number of people.
- Minimum: In lieu of a room fee, we negotiate a minimum spend for customers renting out the private dining room or the entire restaurant. This varies by day and time.
- Gratuity/Tax: All events have a 20% event fee on top of the state & local taxes.
- Final Payment: Final payment is due at the night or day of event by all major credit cards.
- Menu Selections: We work very closely with our customers to create special menus for each event. Options include menu selections, prix fixe menu, buffet, etc.
- Decorations: Decorations can be arranged or brought by host with approval from restaurant manager.
- Linens: We can supply linens for tables with notice.
- Audio/Visual: Flat panel television provided.
- Bring Food: Cakes can be brought for special events.
- Rent Entire Venue: Available by request with appropriate notice.
