The Nelson Event Center Private | Cap. 125
Private Event Info
- Deposit: There is a non-refundable deposit required upon booking and an additional balance due 2 business days before the event. Please discuss with the Event Manager upon booking.
- Room Fee: In The Nelson Event Center there is a 3 hour minimum for private events and it is $250, additional hours are $75/hr. Please discuss with the Event Manager upon booking.
- Gratuity/Tax: All parties of 10 or more include all applicable taxes, an 18% gratuity and a 10% admin fee. Additional gratuity is appreciated but solely at your discretion.
- Final Payment: Final payment is due at the conclusion of your event. All deposits are non-refundable.
- Menu Selections: We have an in house catering menu of delicious pizza, appetizers and platters. With our newly renovated state of the art kitchen, we are able to take custom orders to accommodate most special dish requests.
- Decorations: You are allowed to bring in your own decor and are welcome to come in early to decorate!
- Linens: We have black floor length linens and 6 and 8 foot banquet tables available. Round & High top tables as well. We also have a partnership with a local rental company if you want to order upgraded linens.
- Audio/Visual: We have a 16ft projector in The Nelson and a wireless mic, that can be used for presentations at no additional costs. These easily hook up to a laptop via HDMI cable, and we ask that you come in at least 1 day prior to the event to test them.
- Bring Food: You are not allowed to bring in any prepared foods unless someone has a life-threatening allergy and we are alerted ahead of time. You are allowed to bring in cakes and dessert. Please discuss with the Event Manager upon booking.
- Rent Entire Venue: For the bowling center, the entire venue can be rented, and it must be in conjunction with bowling and a 200 person minimum. For The Nelson, private rentals are available at a minimum of 3 hours at the rate of $250, additional hours are $50 each. Please discuss with the Event Manager upon booking.
