    Columbus Day Weekend Festival -

    The Federal Hill Commerce Association is celebrating the 28th Annual Columbus Day Festival on historic Federal Hill from October 12-14, 2019. The Association is pleased to announce this year’s festival will feature four entertainment stages each day. Additionally, dozens of food and retail vendors, the annual parade, games and amusement rides will line Atwells Avenue. The festival begins on Saturday, October 12th at 10am. This year’s opening ceremony is 12pm on Saturday at the Depasquale Plaza stage. On Sunday, October 13th the annual Columbus Day Parade kicks off at 11am. This year’s parade will feature marching bands, dozens of floats, and civic groups. The parade route is from Harris Avenue to Dean Street along Atwells Avenue. This area will be closed during the time of the parade. New this year to the festival we welcome the La Cucina Galbani Cooking Stage. This will be located in the beautiful St. Johns Park at the corner of Atwells Avenue and Sutton Street. The stage will feature children’s activities, cheese tasting, and live chef demonstrations all weekend long. Please check back soon for a full schedule of activities and demonstrations. The Providence Oyster Bar will be featuring its signature raw bar and will be offering craft beer, wine and seasonal cocktails outside as well as a full menu for dinner inside.
