Local 121

You'll be hard pressed to find another Providence restaurant that is as gorgeously restored as Local 121. Located in the former Dreyfus Hotel and built in 1890, the restaurant is elegant, warm and welcoming - one of the city's most celebrated dining destinations. Executive Chef Tyler Demora's constantly evolving menu features American seasonal cuisine harvested locally and prepared with a nod to tradition and technique.

Beneath the gleaming carved mahogany walls and oversized leather seating in both the street level dining room and bar, Local 121's Speakeasy - so named for its 1930's-era purpose - is the perfect location for special events. Weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate meetings and presentations, bridal luncheons, birthday and anniversary parties are all easily accommodated in this unique space, which can hold 16 to 80 people. The Speakeasy features a private bar, separate sound system and audiovisual equipment suited for various types of presentations.

Parties in search of more space might consider taking over the entire restaurant for the day or evening. Local 121's dining room can accommodate an additional 60 people, while the Tap Room/bar area holds an additional 50 guests. In total, the restaurant could welcome up to 170 for events and celebrations of all kinds.
