"Neighborhood joint", "pub", "bar", "tavern", "family restaurant" ... we've been called a lot of things but we'll leave the job of categorizing The Square Peg up to our customers and all those "yelpers" out there. Our job is to make you feel at home from the minute you walk in our door until the time you leave. Our food philosophy is basic....casual food kept simple. We use fresh ingredients and we try not to mess with them too much.

We're located on the corner of Water St. and Miller St. Just look for the "soldier" out front and you'll know you've arrived.

We overlook Warren’s waterfront, and we want to make the view a part of the whole experience here at Trafford. The name, Trafford, was a family name that has been passed down for many years. When trying to determine a name for this restaurant, we decided to look up the meanings of some possible prospects. Trafford, originally Trapford, means where the land and water meet. What is more perfect for this building built right on the waterfront? Alyn Carlson, our designer, brought the name, location, and building together with an image. The image dates back to the 1890s, and was discovered in the Providence Public Library. The image of a sailboat with wheels has a quirky mystery that perfectly embodies a combination of land and water. Our goal is to make you, our guests, comfortable and embraced with a wonderful view, exceptional service, and delectable food. We hope that you enjoy everything that we offer and will come back time and time again!
