Boston's first Irish "Super Pub" arrived on the scene January 28th, 2005 in the form of Paddy O's. This latest offering from the Somers Pubs embodies everything that is Ireland and the Irish. From the hand-crafted bar to the authentic Furniture, custom made in Ireland, this pub breathes "one hundred thousand Welcomes" from the moment you step through the Door. But this is not the home of Saints and Scholars or Mythical Creatures. Paddy O's has just one purpose in mind FUN!
Saus was started by three local university (Boston University, Northeastern) grads who were ousted from their company during the 2008 recession. With the help of their BU professor and a slew of supportive friends and family, they were able to fulfill a common dream - opening a casual eatery inspired by Belgian food but with a local twist.
While only in its second year, Hennessy’s Hooley House has made a name for itself as Downtown Boston’s premier Live Music Venue. The design and décor echo that of a traditional Irish Village, complete with a post office, a full Irish cottage and, of course the obligatory Irish Pub. However, what really makes this venue a haven for live bands can be found behind the scenes with a state of the art sound and lighting system, an in-house camera and broadcasting unit and a perfect blend of acoustical “hot” and “cold” zones which allows patrons to fully enjoy a live performance or enjoy a quiet talk over drinks.

The Union Oyster House is the oldest restaurant in Boston and the oldest restaurant in continuous service in the U.S. — the doors have always been open to diners since 1826. The toothpick was first used in the United States at the Union Oyster House. Enterprising Charles Forster of Maine first imported the picks from South America. To promote his new business he hired Harvard boys to dine at the Union Oyster House and ask for toothpicks. The Kennedy Clan has patronized the Union Oyster House for years. J.F.K. loved to feast in privacy in the upstairs dining room. His favorite booth "The Kennedy Booth" has since been dedicated in his memory. Since 1826, the Union Oyster House has known only three owners. Carrying on proud traditions in dining and service since 1970 have been Mr. Joseph A. Milano, Jr., and Ms. Mary Ann Milano Picardi.
