Forage is a neighborhood bistro in Cambridge right outside of Harvard Square. Through partnerships with local farmers, fishermen, and foragers we offer a local, seasonal ingredient-driven menu served in a casual setting. The bar program at Forage delivers classically crafted cocktails that have a focus on seasonal and locally produced ingredients. Forage also boasts a carefully curated and approachable collection of organic/biodynamic white, red, and sparkling wines and a selection of beer from independent and innovative breweries. At the helm of Forage is owner/general manager Stan Hilbert, chef Eric Cooper and bar manager Joe Choiniere. The trio worked together for seven years at Ten Tables in Jamaica Plain. Our goal is to create an environment that is comfortable, hospitable, and down-to-earth, but one that never sacrifices the highest standards for service and cuisine.
Sofra Bakery is the second location created by the Oleana Restaurant Group, and was established in 2008 by Executive Chef Ana Sortun, together with business partner & Executive Pastry Chef, Maura Kilpatrick. While traveling in Turkey, still deciding on the name for the bakery, Ana and Maura would ask the locals what the word “Sofra” meant to them. They were amazed at how the word instantly brought a smile to people’s faces.
A chic neighborhood hangout emphasizing a comfortable bar and dining experience, Nubar restaurant serves food reflective of its surrounding neighborhood: smart, seasonal and approachable.
Toscano pays homage to its Tuscan roots with menu selections and daily specials that bring together seasonal ingredients and rare imports. No restaurant in New England more faithfully reproduces Tuscan culinary traditions. Starting with flavorful olive oil—the base of most Tuscan meals, our dishes incorporate handmade pastas, fine local and imported cheeses, housemade sausages, wild mushrooms, and fresh vine-ripened tomatoes. Pizzas are crisped to perfection in our stone oven and game and fish cooked alla griglia are enhanced with oak, hickory, and maple. Tuscan tradition is expressed in our wines as well. The Sangiovese grape’s vino rosso, imbued with all the flavors of its surrounds, colors the palate of many distinguished names: Brunello di Montellocino, Chianti, and Chianti Reserva. Toscano’s temperature-controlled wine room, holding up to 1,000 bottles, features these and more among our hundred Tuscan labels. Another hundred wines from regions across Italy share the spotlight.
