closeSteve Dion and his wife Susan opened S.S. Dion in the summer of 1983. Sue has been cooking for her customers almost every day since the restaurant has been opened. Drawing from her mother & mother-in-law's rich ethnic backgrounds has allowed Sue to create some truly tasty dishes like her signature Grilled Swordfish, to classic Italian fare like Eggplant Parmigiana & Seafood Scampi. Fresh local seafood is S.S. Dion's specilty. Come enjoy the best grilled fish in the East Bay while overlooking the sunset on Bristol Harbor. On the menu you'll find something for everyone, and every entree is made to order. A full children's menu is available for kids 10 and under, and almost every entree can be prepared gluten free. S.S. Dion started the original, ever popular "Dinner for Two" menu - available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings - that offers two full entrees and a bottle of wine for $46. Patio seating is available during summer months, and there are two fireplaces to cozy up by in the wintertime. Reservations are strongly encouraged, especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, and for patio seating on any night that it is available.
Since 1989, Redlefsen's Rotisserie & Grill has been a favorite Bristol restaurant, serving eclectic fare with a European flair. We pride ourselves on being a small town European style restaurant which draws the best from several countries. German food is the primary focus, with the best Wiener Schnitzel of any Rhode Island restaurant. Wonderful German beer and Belgian beer also grace our authentic porcelain beer towers. For those who are not looking for a German dinning experience we also feature several Italian and French dishes and even a Portuguese little neck appetizer since we are in Bristol. For New Englanders our fish is fresh and local. So you can enjoy fresh fried sole, instead of frozen fish and chips. Overlooking the water front at Independence park, and in the heart of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island, Redlefsen's is comfortably elegant. Whether you sit in our dining room, the lounge, or the function room, hand-painted murals of Bavarian villages and the whimsy of the Cuckoo Clock by the fireplace enhance a wonderful dining experience. The wooden ceilings are draped with tiny clear lights which are reflected in the large picture windows overlooking Bristol harbor. The finishing touches are the stained glass windows in the lounge and the grape festooned skylight in the dining room. In the summer time there are twenty seats on our patio. It’s the perfect venue for watching the Fourth of July summer concert series or on other days it is a nice spot to watch the boats bob in the bay. The function room was completed in the Spring of 2010, and is as warm and attractive as the rest of the restaurant. It is an ideal location for a rehearsal dinner, shower, birthday or office party. We can offer parties choices from both our regular menu and our special banquet room menu. Redlefsen’s is most famous for our Oktoberfest celebrations. Traditionally we begin the last Wednesday and Thursday in September and extend the celebration every Wednesday and Thursday through the end of Oktober. During the fest season Redlefsen’s transforms itself into a beer hall with accordion players and the Alpen Blumen Bavarian Dancers.

A friendly, low key family seafood restaurant located in scenic Bristol, Rhode Island. Founded in 1954, Quito's started as a local fish market. Later, a few tables were added and family recipes were relied on for the basic fare. As it's popularity grew so did the dining room. Today, there is a cozy indoor dining area with a fireplace and during the warm months, the patio opens up to beautiful sunsets in Bristol harbor. Enjoy fine dining from March through November.
Executive Chef Christian Ferreira is pleased to welcome you to his restaurant in scenic downtown Bristol, Rhode Island. Christian’s is synonymous with fine dining in the busy nightlife of this popular tourist town. Chris enjoys designing recipes to utilize ingredients during their peak periods of freshness to create unique tastes that fit the season. The menu for Christian’s will change frequently, and there will be new specials each week. Certain key ingredients will return in later menus, bringing a completely different experience in each new dish. For those of you looking for something new and interesting, our small plates offer a way to sample a variety of dishes. With over 13 years of experience in the restaurant industry, Chris is excited to be able to showcase his talents and design a unique culinary experience. Using his creativity is one of his favorite aspects of being a chef, and he enjoys building dishes that take the structure, texture, and flavor of the ingredients to new levels. Chris relies on his ability to adapt to his surroundings to bring his innovative ideas to life. Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson & Wales University in 2010. He enjoys putting his own spin on classic dishes, continually evolving them instead of revisiting past creations. Christian’s utilizes as many local suppliers as possible, using a network of local farms and fishermen to stock his kitchen with a wide variety of fresh, quality ingredients. Christian’s features an extensive drink menu, an impressive craft beer list, and delicious desserts. We look forward to welcoming our patrons for dinner each night!
